  • Lapland Consulting
  • £25,000 - £50,000
Company: Lapland Consulting
Salary: Dependent on experience + bonus
Location: Altrincham, South Manchester
Contact Name: Lapland Consulting

My client is a fast-growing, ambitious property developer with an exciting pipeline of construction projects in and around Manchester covering both residential and commercial developments.

They are seeking Associate, Senior Associate and Senior Development Managers to deliver their property projects on time and to budget. Their client base displays exceptionally high levels of repeat business, due to my client’s exacting standards, excellent communication, problem-solving and deep industry knowledge.

Senior Development Managers will be given full responsibility for projects from day one, while Associate/Senior Associates will work under the supervision of existing Senior Development Managers, gaining greater autonomy dependent on job performance and overall attitude and desire to progress.

This is an ideal opportunity for anyone currently working in development management, project management, QS/EA roles or equivalent and is looking to make the move to the client side.  Those with transferable skills in the asset management / property management sectors will also be considered.

You should have a commercial approach to decision-making, faultless attention to detail and excellent communication skills.  For senior positions, applicants must be able to demonstrate deep industry knowledge and contacts throughout the supply chain as well as a portfolio of previously completed projects.  Above all, you must fit well into the existing team and be willing to turn your hand to whatever task is needed to get the job done.

Tasks may include (dependent on experience):

  • Appraisal of developments
  • Ongoing value engineering throughout the development life-cycle (from planning to construction to sales)
  • Managing tenders
  • Leading/Participating in design team meetings with the project team and holding team members accountable
  • Preparing and maintaining project budgets
  • Preparing and maintaining project timelines
  • Communicating progress to the client and the broader management team

Role and compensation package will be offered dependent on experience. Industry applicable qualifications are preferred, particularly for more senior positions, but not requisite.
