This is an exciting opportunity for an Associate or Director with experience of, and a real passion for, leading a North West-based building surveying team.

You will have a wide range of valuable management skills and experience, both technically and commercially. You’ll also be expected to support and grow the existing team in the region.

This is a business management and client-facing role, and you will be expected to manage an operational department from a P+L perspective, as well as developing new clients, winning tenders, and playing an active part on the leadership of projects.

Your role

You will be responsible for leading, driving, and growing an established building surveying business across the North West.

You’ll proactively contribute to the development of the client base, support and develop a culture of cross-discipline working, develop and maintain business relationships, set and manage client expectations, and agree fee schedules and commercial terms.

The right Building Surveying Associate will also develop a business plan for the team, including exploring key development opportunities, and be a proven ‘work winner’. You’ll develop leading-edge solutions, maximise technical quality and efficiency, and achieve project revenue targets.

About you

A proven business leader, you will be qualified to degree level, with appropriate professional memberships and relevant industry experience at a senior level. You’ll also be experienced in successfully running substantial projects from inception to completion, with the ability to write fee and project bids, and perform effectively at tender interviews.

To be successful, you will have recognised management experience, the ability to manage other professionals, both internally and externally, as well as assistants, and be able to collaborate and influence other team members and clients. Additionally, you’ll have a great understanding of financial management.

About the company

You will be joining an international, award-winning, multidisciplinary consultancy, delivering creative solutions to some of the world’s most challenging projects. This is a firm that prides itself on being a people business, owing its success to people like you.

The Building Surveying division offers a full range of services for a wide variety of fantastic clients, which, combined with colleague interactions in other disciplines, makes this an exciting place to work and develop as a professional.

In return for your dedication, you will enjoy a generous remuneration package, including contributory pension, health cover, and flexible working options.

If this all sounds great to you, seize the day by applying right away. For more Associate or Director of Building Surveying jobs in the North West, speak to Kingsley.
