A studio in Manchester with a reputation for cutting-edge design work has a rare opportunity for an Associate Architect to join its team.

The practice

Having achieved acclaim on a national basis, a need has developed for a management-level role with scope to progress to Director.

The practice almost exclusively uses Revit and it has strong and lasting relationships with some of the most well-known brands in the UK. It operates on both a local and national basis, and the practice is well known in Manchester as one that produces high-calibre work.

The role

As second in command, you’ll enjoy an excellent level of autonomy in your Associate Architect role, and use your knowledge and expertise to guide and mentor the current team of talented architects and designers. Working largely on high-value residential schemes, you’ll take full responsibility for client relationships and represent the company brand to the highest standard. A background working on large-scale residential projects would be a distinct advantage.

Your experience

To be successful in this Associate Architect job, you’ll need a proven track record of running high-value projects and a flair for producing attractive designs. Excellent technical knowledge, coupled with the ability to influence and build relationships, both internally and externally, with clients, contractors, and developers will also ensure that you can hit the ground running.

In return, you’ll get a genuine opportunity to make a difference within the practice and develop your strengths within a supportive environment.

This role would suit an Associate-level architect who enjoys variety and would welcome the opportunity to develop their role. There is a genuine opportunity to progress within the practice, and you’ll join an award-winning team with a genuine passion for the work it does.
