Our client is a young architectural studio with an award-winning design background in commercial design most commonly associated in designing restaurants and wine bars around the North West.

They are looking for a creative Associate Architect to join their Manchester office to work on an expanding portfolio of projects. You will be an integral part of their company, client briefing, calculations using both manual and computerised methods, producing technical reports, creating visualisation drawings to demonstrate the proposed design to the client.

Candidates should have excellent design and graphic skills, together with proven experience on a number of high-quality commercial projects through detailed design to implementation.

Requirements For This Role Include The Following

  •  ARB/RIBA Registration – Minimum 10 Years post qualification experience.
  • Significant experience at the project delivery stages (Stages 4 Onwards).
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Coupled with confident presentation and leadership skills.
  • A proven ability to multi task and manage multiple workloads simultaneously.
  • Project Management. Including managing internal teams and consultants.
  • Developing a detailed design programme. This will include frequent reviews and amendments where necessary.
  • Providing progress reports to Senior board members and clients.
  • Defining and agreeing on the work package structure and reporting on outputs.
  • Supporting and developing a team of more junior Designers/Technicians where appropriate.
