Quantity surveying consultancy has a requirement for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team

You will be working in an established office within the Greater Manchester region and be exposed to an ever expanding client base. The projects vary across a range of sectors including: social housing, retail, NHS, education, leisure and commercial sectors, with project values between £500,000 and £10m.

About the Role

My client is looking to hire an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join the team. You will either be a graduate, looking for a full-time position or working part-time whilst continuing to study.

Supported by a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you will be given real responsibility as well the opportunity to progress your APC in order to become chartered.

The main responsibilities will be: carrying out feasibility studies, measurement and cost planning; design development and attending team meetings regarding this; contractor tendering and reporting; and agreement of final account.

As you progress in your career you will begin to lead on your own projects and become client facing, dealing with a number of stakeholders, ensuring you maintain the company’s high standards of delivery.
