A rare opportunity has become available for an experienced Healthcare Technologist/ Architect to join one of Manchester’s most respected architectural practices. The role will form part of a larger team working across high value healthcare jobs, and the experienced candidate will join a successful business with a name synonymous with healthcare architecture.
As a Healthcare Architect / Technologist, there will be a big focus on job running ability and a detailed understanding of the healthcare sector. You’ll use your knowledge to provide advice regarding technical matters, and confidently resolve queries and problems quickly. You’ll also produce detailed architectural drawings using NHS design guidance and Revit. It’s important that you have a working knowledge of the package.
It’s a varied role, with site visits, design meetings, and regular contact with the construction teams. Your work in coordinating the project will ensure it’s delivered on time. Knowledge of UK building regulations, the ability to communicate ideas, and previous experience of working within detailed frameworks will ensure the project is tracked correctly.
You’ll be mentored and put on a personal development plan from day one. The company have an excellent reputation for nurturing their staff and promoting from within.
You’ll be an experienced Technologist or Architect with a proven track- record of working on healthcare projects. It’s vitally important that you’re able to run a job through all stages of the process and address technical queries. A good level of competence using Revit, and the ability to apply new ideas to a working model will ensure deadline are met.
