Senior Manager – Strategic Asset Management

Salford City Council is looking to appoint a dynamic senior leader to work alongside the Head of Service to direct and drive the strategic management of the Council’s portfolio and the management of the Council’s investment and non-operational asset properties.

This is an excellent opportunity to shape the direction and effectiveness of the Council’s strategic asset management plan; ensure it leverages its assets; provide robust integrated public services; working closely with Greater Manchester Combined Authority and a wide range of other public/private sector partners to determine and deliver the best use of Council assets and the delivery of public sector services to best support ongoing change within the City and the needs of the local and wider community.

You will have professional credibility through proven experience of leading and managing a service within a similar field, with a record of delivering against key performance indicators.

You will be an excellent and proactive leader with demonstrable people management skills with the ability to think strategically and act practically and effectively with a wide range of stakeholders both internally and externally.
