Our client is an award-winning property business, fast becoming a market leader in the Build to Rent market across the UK! An opportunity has arisen for a residential property manager to join their BTR team, based within their dynamic offices located in south Manchester.
With a strong period of growth happening in all areas of the business, this is an exciting time to join!
We are looking for candidates with experience in residential property management and a knowledge of lettings legislation. Working with your team, you’ll be fundamental in ensuring all Property Management tasks are completed promptly and efficiently. Customer service lies at the core of al operations, requiring a willingness to exceed expectations. We are looking for someone who cares about the people around them and is willing to go the extra mile.
Responsibilities
· Managing a portfolio of properties
· Client Liaison
· Being the first point of contact and go to person for all tenant enquiries
· Dealing with any issues or concerns that may arise within the property
· Dealing with any maintenance required on the properties, liaising with contractors and suppliers and scheduling in works at agreed costs
· Management of tenancy contract
· Managing tenancy deposits and disputes
· Updating the inhouse property management system and other systems
· Scheduling in works and property inspections
· Liaising with the wider team and business
Skills and experience required:
· Prior experience working within the property industry
· Prior knowledge of property functions and management
· Strong levels of customer service and prepared to go above and beyond
· Positive attitude
· High levels of Integrity and Reliability
· Property mark or ARLA accreditation preferable but not essential
