      Your role

We are looking for a regeneration project manager to play a key role in delivering the exciting regeneration plans for Leigh town centre. You will support Leigh Town Board to deliver the £20 million Leigh Long Term Towns Plan, which is currently being produced, and will include a range of exciting projects under the themes of community safety, regeneration and transport.

You will manage the programme, specific projects and tasks, making sure risks and issues are well-managed, facilitating governance arrangements and ensuring milestones are met.

Reporting to the programme manager – town centre regeneration, you will work with project teams from across the organisation, as well as external partners and stakeholders, to ensure deliverables are achieved.

      About you

We’re looking for experience and energy in a project manager who is used to managing projects within a complex working environment and ideally within a regeneration context. Adept at building great relationships and getting along with colleagues, you’ll be a real people person, friendly, positive and forward-thinking. You will be keen to get on with the job at hand with strong organisational skills, ability to keep your eye – and those of your colleagues – on the end goal and a track record of delivering projects which meet objectives on time. You will be a good planner with strong communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to provide accurate and timely briefings for key stakeholders and senior leaders.
