Knowsley’s Growth Agenda continues to thrive and we are looking for dynamic, driven and experienced individuals to join the team. Working within the Major Development Team, the Heritage Action Zone (HAZ) Project Officer will play a key role in delivering the regeneration of Prescot town centre.
The HAZ Project Officer will be responsible for the delivery of the £3.1m Prescot High Street Heritage Action Zone, which is funded by Historic England and Knowsley Council. The post-holder will project manage all aspects of the HAZ programme, including building repair, re-use and adaptation, public realm improvements, community engagement and events management.
Project management and working with diverse partners are essential skills. Experience of large heritage-led regeneration projects an understanding of historic buildings and their repair and developing and delivering community engagement activities are desirable.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a friendly multi-disciplinary team to deliver the ambitious growth plans for Knowsley.
