      An exceptionally rare client-side opportunity has become available for an experienced Graduate Property/Asset Management Surveyor to join a national property company, forming part of the In-House Asset Management team. This role is a new position within the organisation due to their continued success, and you will be joining the company at an exciting time of business growth.

      This position will be suited to a Commercial Property Graduate who has experience within Property or Asset Management, has already began working towards the APC, and has a passion to develop and focus their surveying career in Asset Management.

      The role of Assistant Asset Manager (Graduate Asset Management Surveyor) will involve you working closely with the Asset Manager in your region, and you will be responsible for delivering a seamless experience for tenants, providing a crucial role between them, facilities management, finance, and asset management teams. Whilst continuing to work towards the APC you will be given fantastic exposure to managing a portfolio, and will be responsible for the following,

      -Contract administration, reading and interpretation of lease documentation
      -Reviewing tenancy data, planning for key lease events, service charges etc
      -Working with the Asset Management and Financial team to prepare service charge budgets
      -Tenant liasion, building positive relationships through regular meetings
      -Undertaking property inspections
      -Supporting the Asset Manager in acquiring or disposing of assets, and ensuring vacant properties are let
      -Working with the Asset Manager with value add or capital expenditure schemes

      This is a truly collaborative role which will see you working alongside Asset and Senior Asset Managers, Facilities Managers, Financial colleagues, and a range of external third parties, such as agency surveyors, solicitors, project managers etc.

      As the successful Assistant Asset Manager, you will be/have

      -Already working towards the APC with previous experience in a Property Management position
      -A strong communicator, someone who finds it easy to build rapport, and it goes without saying that you will have a real passion for asset management and commercial property in general
      -Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
      -A good understanding of Landlord and Tenant Legislation
      -Willingness’ to travel within your portfolio (North of England)
      -Full UK Driving Licence, and your own transport

      Salary is c£32,000-35,000 doe plus bonus, and benefits including pension, health, and life insurance.
