      Place Development/Regeneration Roles – LCR Combined Authority

      Do you want to work on transformational, high profile projects that make a genuine difference to the people of the Liverpool City Region? Are you seeking a varied role that will both challenge and reward you on a daily basis?

      The Liverpool City Region Combined Authority is growing a team of exceptional people in its Investment and Delivery Directorate to develop strategic place & infrastructure projects and make investments in areas that make a difference to our communities. We work in partnership with our local authorities and wider stakeholders in the public, private, third sectors and social economy to use our devolved powers and funding to develop, fund and deliver projects, to achieve our vision for a fairer, stronger, cleaner city region where no one is left behind.

      From office, industrial and lab space, to town centre repurposing, cultural venues and digital connectivity, our role is to ensure the City Region is developing projects that drive economic growth, increase sustainability and achieve a more inclusive economy.

      Roles:

      There are 4 roles available in the LCRCA’s Investment and Delivery Directorate to develop and invest in place & infrastructure projects: an Investment Analyst, two Investment Associate roles and an Investment Manager. We’re seeking candidates with property, regeneration and place making experience to deliver the current £150m Mayoral Recovery Plan, Towns Fund and Levelling Up Fund and future priorities.

      Profile:

      We are looking for people who are passionate about supporting the aims of the Combined Authority, who are self-starting, highly motivated, commercially minded and possess willingness to go the extra mile. Our team comes from a range of backgrounds and experience, including finance, legal, property development and management, gained in a variety of private and public sector roles. MRICS qualification is desirable but not essential – your experience and approach are more important.

      You will develop projects from inception through structuring, execution and into delivery, working as part of a team and on your own initiative. You can influence and have impact with stakeholders, build strong relationships, and use your ideas and experience to shape policy and delivery.
