Are you an experienced construction manager looking for your next challenge? If so, this could be the perfect role for you!
We are searching for an individual with a proven track record in the field of construction management, ideally with experience in the care home or healthcare industry. The successful candidate will be an excellent negotiator, who can juggle multiple projects with ease and be comfortable managing the entire construction process, from the tender stage through to completion.
Candidates can be based in the North West, Yorkshire or West Midlands regions, but must be prepared to travel.
To be considered for this position, you must possess:
- A proven track record working as a construction manager
- Strong experience in a managerial role in the construction industry
- Proven negotiation skills
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- The ability to think quickly and make sound decisions
- A good understanding of construction codes and regulations
- A good working knowledge of the latest technologies and software
The successful candidate will be a key player in the successful completion of projects, providing guidance and oversight to ensure they are delivered on time and within budget. As a construction manager, you will be required to be well versed in the process of tendering out various construction projects, as well as managing contracts and ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant regulations, as well as to the exacting standards of the organisation you will be working for.
You will be a confident communicator, able to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and ensure that all parties are kept informed throughout each project. You will also be responsible for the health and safety of all worksites, ensuring that they are kept safe and in line with relevant laws.
