      The Opportunity

      Kingsley is acting on behalf of a highly successful and entrepreneurial regional Property Company who is looking to recruit an experienced Asset Management Surveyor to join an established team, with responsibilities towards the strategic direction of Asset Management across the commercial portfolio.

      Also, you would also help in identifying and appraising new investment opportunities and developing a broad network of industry connections.

      You will join an established property team and be responsible for co-ordinating asset management activity whilst ensuring standardisation and best practice is delivered across the portfolio.

      Responsibilities 

      In conjunction with various colleagues, you shall be responsible for overseeing and undertaking:

      • Strategic Asset Management of the physical elements of the portfolio to attract added value, maintain and grow rental income.
      • This includes:
        • Identify new letting opportunities and asset acquisitions
        • Liaison with Solicitors to agree new leases
        • Making sure all void accommodation is presentable in accordance with the letting strategy
        • Highlighting lease renewals and re-gear opportunities to both secure and increase value.
        • Overseeing Rent Reviews under existing leases.
        • Highlighting cost saving opportunities whilst maintaining customer service levels.
      • Implementing a pro-active void management strategy where applicable.
      • Preparation of a monthly property management report for the Operational Board of Trustees.
      • New Lease implementation and the on-going management of the property data on the Company’s central property management database.
      • Co-ordinate with retained property managers
      • Maintaining and developing new relationships with third party agents and advisors.

      Keys Skills & Qualifications

      • Property Asset & Estate Management experience
      • Working knowledge of Landlord & Tenant Law
      • Ability to drive occupancy rates in accordance with business plan
      • Have the foresight to seek and identify opportunities
      • Develop and implement property strategies
      • Strong communication and customer service skills
      • Ability to work with and drive external consultants, where required
      • Ideally RICS qualified
      • Commercial Property Background and experience
      • Strong Customer Service Experience

      Remuneration:

      • A competitive salary between £50k – £70k per annum (D.O.E.)
      • Discretionary Bonus Scheme
      • Car Allowance – £6,000 per annum
