As our next Bid Writer, you won’t just be following the script—you’ll be writing it. You’ll have the flexibility to work from vibrant offices, the comfort of your home, and out in the field at customer meetings, site visits, and project meetings across the North West.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with Vision: As the mastermind behind key bids, you’ll guide internal teams and craft compelling, innovative responses that not only meet but exceed our customers’ expectations.
• Strategise to Win: You’ll be the architect of winning strategies, leading two-stage tenders for projects ranging from £5m to £100m across sectors like Public, Education, Leisure, Commercial, and Healthcare.
• Collaborate & Conquer: Work closely with senior management to shape the bid strategy, ensuring it aligns with our goals for profitability, sustainability, and innovation.
• Seal the Deal: From inception workshops to contract close, you’ll manage the entire process, converting opportunities into profitable contracts and leading negotiations that bring projects to life.

Your Toolkit:

• Leadership & Communication: You’re a natural leader with top-notch communication skills. You know how to inspire your team and influence stakeholders.
• Analytical Prowess: You have a sharp analytical mind and the financial savvy to maximize opportunities and make sound decisions.
• Technical Know-How: Your understanding of complex construction schemes is unparalleled, and you’re not afraid to challenge the status quo to get the best results.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience in bid management, ideally within a Tier 1 contractor environment.
• A track record of success in preparing and winning tenders, with a flair for delivering an outstanding service.
