Head of Investment and Planning

Up to £70,000 with PRP

As the leader of a new team driving forward our ambitious plans on Economic Growth and Prosperity, you'll make a major contribution to the future shape of our strong local economy. You will up the pace of delivery of new employment and housing sites, unlock development through combining public and private sector funding, and harness the value of our substantial asset based resources in bold and imaginative ways.

Working closely with the Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP), business leaders, HE institutions, colleges and local schools, you will design and implement frameworks which guarantee that the right skills, sites and infrastructure are in place to deliver our ambitious growth agenda.

The role calls for outstanding interpersonal skills, a high level of credibility with senior business people, and a successful track record of turning entrepreneurial thinking into sound, tangible results at pace.
