JLL engineering company takes 10,000+ sq ft at Birchwood Park

Integral UK has signed a ten-year lease for the space at the Warrington business park, which will become a contact centre for the company’s help desk.

Up to 70 employees will work out of the 10,540 sq ft office at the park’s Chadwick House. They will provide support to the company’s thousands of engineers throughout the UK.

Jones Lang LaSalle and BE Group were the agents behind the deal.

JLL director Richard Wharton praised the decision to set up in Chadwick House.

“Following an extensive search of the Birchwood area, including the serviced office market, Chadwick House was the unanimous choice for Integral’s new northern office, bringing all staff together on a single high-quality floorplate within a scheme offering a wide range of amenities,” Wharton said.

According to Birchwood Park executives, the key to Birchwood Park is in part due to its location, which provides access to talent pools in Warrington, Manchester and Liverpool.

Martin O’Rourke, commercial director at Birchwood Park, said: “We’ve designed our whole site to provide as many versatile workspace options as possible, along with the very best in transport links and amenities and we hope Integral UK’s employees are able to make the most of the facilities on offer.”

Integral is the 22nd company to move to Birchwood Park this year. Other major lettings include computer software company Flexera leasing 16,000 sq ft and men’s fashion retailer Arne Clo taking 59,000 sq ft.

More than 165 companies call Birchwood Park home. The park is owned by Warrington Borough Council, which purchased the property for £200m in 2017. It managed by real estate fund Patrizia.
