JLL and HKR in possible Chancery Place move

Jones Lang LaSalle and HKR Architects are considering moving to Manchester's 15-storey, 105,000 sq ft Chancery Place.

JLL, which Irish developer Blue Cube has appointed as joint letting agent with Savills, is interested in moving out of its 5,000 sq ft King Street offices to take the 7,800 sq ft 10th floor, while the building's designer, Dublin-based HKR Architects, is also believed to be keen to move into the development.

Located at 52-58 Brown Street in the heart of the city's office district, local agents say the scheme could break the city's £30/sq ft rental barrier.

Chancery Place is due completion at the end of September.

Knight Frank is advising HKR.
