James Industrial completes Prestatyn Kwik Save revamp

A business park on the land off Warren Drive to the east of the Welsh town has been redeveloped to provide 75,000 sq ft of refurbished space.

Bolton-based developer James Industrial will now collaborate with the joint agents working on the Prestatyn scheme, including Littler & Associates, BA Commercial, and Legat Owen, to let the units.

The site is arranged in three blocks covering 11 acres. Having previously hosted Prestatyn-born Kwik Save, the site has since been vacant.

Block A provides up to 25,700 sq ft, Block B offers 19,300 sq ft, while together Blocks C and D offer 35,300 sq ft of space at the site’s southern boundary.

More than 75,000 sq ft of space will be provided, with units available from 1,400 sq ft to 18,800 sq ft at £6.50/sq ft.

Five of the 28 units are already occupied – current tenants include Queens Classics, Pixel Fine Art, and Studio Arts Collective.

Each D2 Architects-designed block provides a yard for goods deliveries and, in addition, a 10,000 sq ft office block at the site’s north will be made available to tenants.

The project team behind the scheme includes Wrexham-based Knights Construction, Clad-It, PGC Dismantling, and Cardon Construction.

A one-way system for cars around the site would be integrated, access would be from Warren Drive.

Vehicles would benefit from the proximity to the A55, which runs parallel to the site.

Elsewhere, James Industrial recently requested permission from Blackburn with Darwen Council to begin the demolition of the former Perspex site known as Orchard Mill.
