Interactive Investor doubles size of Manchester HQ
Interior design and fit-out company ADT Workplace has completed the design and refurbishment of Interactive Investor’s Deansgate headquarters, as the online trading platform doubles its footprint to 31,000 sq ft.
Interactive Investor previously occupied one 15,500 sq ft floor in 201 Deansgate, with this project enabling its expansion across two floors. ADT installed a feature staircase to connect the two floors.
The development also includes an atrium, meeting pods, a games room, and a café.
Interactive Investor took over the space when it acquired TD Direct Investments in 2017, which had a five-year tenancy.
The office can now house up to 250 staff, and provides Interactive Investor with the opportunity for future expansion.
Richard Wilson, chief executive of Interactive Investor, said: “The new work environment has been transformative for the business. It is much more effective than the working space we had previously, and we are already seeing its benefits in terms of employee engagement, productivity, happiness and culture.
“With ambitious plans for rapid growth, we are confident that the new space will be key in helping Interactive Investor attract and retain the best talent.”
