Infrastructure planner hired at SCP
Transport planning consultancy SCP has announced that Kim Barnes has joined the firm as an associate director to develop the infrastructure design capabilities in its Manchester office.
Barnes has covered almost all aspects of highway design in his career both nationally and internationally, working in locations as diverse as Papua New Guinea and Oman for both governments and private sector businesses, and has managed multidisciplinary companies.
Steve Carmody, director at SCP, said: “Kim has joined SCP bringing many years of experience on a range of infrastructure design schemes, including some significant major scheme experience within the UK and abroad. This experience will be a great benefit to the growing SCP North West infrastructure design team.”
SCP has offices in Manchester, Leeds and London. North West schemes the firm has acted on include Wardle Airfield in Nantwich and Buckshaw Village, Chorley.
