Industrious lets units at Haslemere Industrial Estate

Industrious Asset Management has let units A1 and A2 at its Haslemere Industrial Estate in Wigan to PDS International.

PDS International has agreed a nine-year lease with break clauses after three and six years on the units, which total 59,741 sq ft.

A phased rental has been agreed with years one and two at £2.25/sq ft and year three at £2.50/sq ft, subject to upwards only review thereafter.

The first three months of the lease term are to be rent free with the subsequent six months at half rent.

DTZ and Sanderson Weatherall advised Industrious Asset Management.

Founded by five brothers in 1961, the Preston-based construction company has now made the switch to an employee-ownership trust model.

The deal, which includes two North West and a couple of Yorkshire sites, has been financed through cash and shares.
