Indurent proposes 560,000 sq ft Rochdale industrial

A 20-acre site off Junction 3 of the M66 in Heywood would be redeveloped under proposals from St Modwen and Industrials REIT, which merged recently.

Indurent has submitted outline plans to redevelop a site within the 200-acre Heywood Distribution Park into up to 560,000 sq ft of industrial space.

Various configurations for how the scheme would come forward are being considered. These include two units of 368,000 sq ft and 189,000 sq ft and a single 500,000 sq ft unit.

Indurent manages the majority of the wider park, which is home to Argos and Kuehne + Nagel, among others.

St Modwen Logistics and Industrials REIT, part of Blackstone, joined forces to form Indurent earlier this year. The firm has a portfolio comprising 27m sq ft of industrial space.
