In-Touch takes third floor at Hardman Square

In-Touch Networks’ letting of the 22,000 sq ft third floor of 3 Hardman Square in Manchester’s Spinningfields has been confirmed.

The announcement follows that of the General Medical Council in January that it is to occupy the building’s eighth floor. In-Touch, a provider of online networking platforms, takes up a floor formerly occupied by Towergate Insurance, which has slimmed down its presence in the building to around 13,000 sq ft on the fourth floor.

The GMC space is close to the medical regulator’s existing Hardman Street base and will be turned into a clinical assessment centre for testing doctors.

3 Hardman Square, owned by Royal London, has undergone a refurbishment programme, with the ground floor reception being upgraded along with the lift lobbies and toilets on each floor and a shower and clycle hub being added in the basement.

Neil Mort, senior director at CBRE Manchester, said: “Royal London’s strategy to invest in improving the building since its acquisition at the end of 2017 is seeing success.  2019 promises to be a positive year for the building, with the opening of the new cycle hub, which coincides with the completion of the new public realm area, The Field, located adjacent to the building.

“There remains strong interest in the remaining 4th floor and 5th floor suites.”

3 Hardman Square is the building originally developed as law firm Halliwells’ headquarters. Designed by Foster & Partners, it offers around 178,000 sq ft across eight floors of offices.
