HS Property hires hat trick of directors

The Ardwick-based investor and affordable housing specialist has boosted its team with the addition of finance, commercial and asset management directors.

Robyn Lee has joined as commercial director, Mark Edwards takes the role of asset management director, and James Bell has become the company’s new finance director.

The trio are taking up the newly created senior management roles as HS Property Group, run by developers Guy Horne and David Searle, looks to expand.

The company, established in 2018, employs 20 people.

Lee joins from The Freedom Organisation, a health and wellbeing venture that she set up and served as chief executive of for the past two years. She previously spent four years as an area manager for supermarket chain Aldi.

Edwards joins from JWH Capital, where he was head of investments and acquisitions having previously spent four years in a similar role at Whitecroft Group, a Sale-based developer and investor.

Bell joins from Manchester-based Crofton Solicitors, where he spent a year as head of finance following a five-year stint at housing association Jigsaw Homes.

Lee said: “HS Property is undergoing significant growth. Its revolutionary approach allows us to transform the way in which the social and affordable housing sectors operate and my role is to ensure that this ambition is realised smoothly and effectively.”

Guy Horne, chief executive of HS Property Group, said: “Despite the strange and uncertain world we are  in, this is a very exciting new chapter in the history of our company.”

This month, the firm completed the acquisition of a 16,700 leisure asset on Castle Street in Liverpool for around £4.5m.
