HOW Planning names fourth partner
Richard Barton, who has been with the company for nine years, has been promoted to partner alongside Jon Suckley and founders Gary Halman and Richard Woodford.
The move was one of a round of promotions recognising the contribution of staff in the growth of the company, now employing 30 people in its Manchester office.
Halman, managing partner, said: “We have taken another important step in HOW’s continued growth with Richard’s promotion to partner, which, along with our other internal promotions and new appointments, further strengthens our team and will help us achieve our longer term aims and ambitious targets for the future.”
Conor Vallelly and Daniel Brown are now in associate positions and Chris Peacock, who heads up HOW’s environmental team, was promoted to associate. Chris Sinton, Victoria Hunter and Matthew Robinson were all promoted to senior planner.
Last month, HOW announced three new starters. In addition to the new appointments and promotions, HOW’s graduate environmental planner, Jamie Lynch has become an associate member of the IEMA Institute of Environmental Management & Assessment.
