Hourigan Connolly moves to Spring Gardens
Planner Hourigan Connolly has relocated back to Manchester’s office core, taking space in 55 Spring Gardens as the consultancy also celebrates a decade in business.
For the past six years Hourigan Connolly has been based at Workshop Properties’ Swan Square development in the Northern Quarter.
There will be four members of staff based in the serviced offices at 55 Spring Gardens; Central Working operates an 18,000 sq ft coworking facility, in partnership with landlord Aviva Investors.
Founding directors Marc Hourigan and Daniel Connolly said: “The relocation back into the CBD is part of a modernisation programme for the business which, amongst other things, will enable the company to provide a more flexible and modern working environment as it seeks to attract new members of staff to assist with its established client base and grow the business over the coming years.
“Over the past 10 years the practice has helped deliver tens of thousands of new homes and millions of square feet of commercial floorspace across the UK. With a healthy workbook we aim to continue that success.”
Hourigan Connolly has also announced the establishment of a Belfast office, to be headed by Niall Mellan who joined the Manchester office in 2018. Originally from the city, Mellan will assist existing Northern Ireland-based clients as well as seek new opportunities as the 11 Northern Ireland councils establish their own development plans.
Congrats guys, great move back to near where it all started!
