Highcross adds airport office to Northern portfolio

Fund manager Highcross has acquired the 93,000 sq ft Manchester International Office Centre near Manchester Airport from BAE Pension Fund for £16.5m.

Highcross plans to refurbish the centre and add an extra floor. BAE sold the asset through LaSalle Investment Management, advised by WHR. GSD and CB Richard Ellis acted for Highcross.

Highcross acquired more than 100 sites last year and shows little sign of slowing down, with deals also completed this month in Birmingham and Leeds.
