Grosvenor confirms latest Liverpool One signings
Handbag retailer Radley is among the latest signings confirmed by Grosvenor for the £950m retail-led Liverpool One project.
As tipped by Place North West at the beginning of November, Radley, Jigsaw, G-Star and Fred Perry have all signed up for space at Peter's Lane. The lane of high-end fashion boutiques will cut through from School Lane to College Lane near the Bluecoat Arts Centre, and will be linked to Church Street via a new entrance through the former HMV store.
Radley has taken a 1,580 sq ft unit; Jigsaw, 5,400 sq ft; Fred Perry, 1,600 sq ft and G-Star, 5,000 sq ft.
Grosvenor said the 1.5m sq ft of new retail in the scheme, anchored by John Lewis and Debenhams, is more than 75% let by floor area.
Other retailers earmarked for the Peter's Lane area, which is due to open in September 2008 in the second phase of openings at Liverpool One, include Arrogant Cat, Flannels, Reiss, Ted Baker and Karen Millen.
The first phase on South John Street and Paradise Street opens in May.
