Grimleys retained on Victoria Station

Muse Developments and Morley have appointed GVA Grimley as planning adviser on the £300m redevelopment of Manchester Victoria Station and the adjacent Fishdock site.

Around 800,000 sq ft of offices, retail, hotel and residential are expected to be delievered on the site in partnership with Network Rail as well as the much-needed refurbishment of the station itself.

Stephen Bell, director of GVA Grimley's Manchester planning team, said: "Victoria Station is one of the key gateways into Manchester, and Fishdock is a prime development site. Alongside other emerging initiatives, this project has the potential to significantly enhance this part of the city centre."
