Gresham relaunches Glaxo site
Publicly listed investment trust, Gresham House, has completed the refurbishment of the former GlaxoSmithKline factory in south Liverpool into a speculative office building aimed at scientific occupiers.
Liverpool Science Centre contains 97,385 sq ft and has 'clean room' facilities alongside administrative, office and laboratory areas with showers and changing rooms.
Gresham House acquired the whole site in 2004 and began development work in 2010, producing the cold room and laboratory show suite that is now available for inspection.
The refurbishment was carried out by Gresham House's property development arm, New Capital Developments. Mike Boyens, director of New Capital Developments, said: "Liverpool Science Centre is a fantastic facility that has been developed to a particularly high standard and will provide ideal laboratory, clean room, or office accommodation for a science based business or organisation looking for Grade A premises in a prime location."
