Grealis steps up at HBD
Kieran Grealis has been promoted to director and head of projects for industrial and logistics, as the developer looks to support delivery of new schemes.
Grealis joined HBD’s Manchester office as a project manager in 2019 from KSN Project Management in Dublin. He previously spent time with Sainsbury’s and Applegreen.
Glasgow-based Nigel Munro has taken on the equivalent position in residential and urban regeneration as the developer looks to reshape a project management team expanding to deal with a series of projects starting on site.
HBD’s pipeline includes Manchester’s keenly-awaited £66m Island office development, its first net carbon zero scheme, along with build-to-rent projects in Manchester and Birmingham and the £1bn Golden Valley Development in Cheltenham.
In industrial and logistics, traditionally a key sector for the Sheffield-headquartered firm, jobs under way include work at the International Advanced Manufacturing Park, Phoenix 10 in Walsall and New Horizon, the redevelopment of the former Imperial Tobacco Factory in Nottingham.
Ed Hutchinson, managing director of HBD, said: “Our in-house project management team is key to HBD’s success in consistently delivering the high-quality, strategic schemes that HBD is known for.”
