Gleeds looks to future with St Paul’s move

Consultancy Gleeds has moved from Edmund Street to 4 St Paul’s Square, where it has signed up for 3,590 sq ft in the first deal since the building was bought by Aberdeen Asset Management for £18.7m in July.

Gleeds said that the relocation follows a run of success which has seen it deliver contracts such as Greenbank halls of residence for the University of Liverpool, as well as a 25% increase in staff numbers within the last year.

Director for Liverpool Paul Boyle said: “This is a really exciting time for our business following our 10-year anniversary in the city in 2016.

“Not only do we see this as a great investment for the city, we’re also immensely excited about the potential it gives our people. We are investing heavily in expanding our Liverpool business and plan to have doubled the size of our team in the next couple of years. This will further boost our ability to support project delivery within the city region and right across the North West.”

CBRE and Worthington Owen are joint agents on 4 St Paul’s Square. Andrew Owen, director at the latter, said: “Gleeds is a dynamic and ambitious business and will significantly bolster an already impressive portfolio of tenants.

Quoting rents at 4 St Paul’s Square are £19.50 per sq ft. Around 36,500 sq ft remains to be let at the 107,000 sq ft building.
