Gladman/UBC roll out small business JV
Cheshire-based Gladman Developments and serviced office provider United Business Centres are to launch their joint venture small business centres in seven sites including Liverpool and Oldham.
The firms plan new business centres in Liverpool, Stafford, Newark, Tewkesbury, Oldham, Northumberland and Wakefield. The Liverpool UBC will be based at Hurricane Court in Speke and Oldham's in Howarth Court, Oldham Broadway Business Park, Chadderton. Both are due to open later this year.
UBC managing director, Philip Grace, said: "Our partnership with Gladman has significantly raised the bar for UBC, enabling us to rapidly realise our expansion objectives. Gladman's G10K buildings provide a consistently high quality location for our business centres and we are proud to partner with an established player in the commercial property sector."
David Gladman, director of Gladman Developments, added: "The new sites will enhance Gladman's portfolio, ensuring that we can attract businesses of every size to our developments. They will provide an entry-level option to our office developments, creating a 'seedbed' for new tenants as they expand and consider leasing or purchasing other units on the same scheme."
The business centres provide office space on flexible terms, hot-desking and meeting and conference facilities.
