Gifford promotes Pauling to equity partner

Gifford has selected its director Alan Pauling as one of the new equity partners of the business.

Pauling will be based in the independent engineering and environmental consultants' Manchester office.

As well as playing a key role in the successful growth and management of Gifford's transportation business, Pauling helped steer the new Mersey Gateway second river crossing through to planning submission.

Matthew Tyrrell, who has had a significant role in the development, growth and management of Gifford's Oxford office, is another director the firm has promoted to equity partner.

Gifford now has 21 equity partners.
