GB Oils relocates to Birchwood
MEPC has unveiled its latest signing to its Birchwood Park office campus near Warrington, with GB Oils taking nearly 10,000 sq ft in Building 302.
The fuels and lubricants supplier will lease 9,479 sq ft at a rental of £17.50/sq ft in the new building on Bridgewater Place, to the south of the 123-acre park. The newcomer joins Vestas-Celtic, a wind turbine manufacturer, which occupies 17,700 sq ft in the same building. Bridgewater Place comprises four buildings totalling over 160,000 sq ft.
GB Oils will relocate staff from existing sites in Knowsley, Ellesmere Port, Cadishead and Trafford Park to create a new regional headquarters.
Jonathan Walsh, managing director of Birchwood Park, said: "Market interest is running high in this scheme and given the recent lettings we are confident that more will follow. We are certainly attracting some major regional occupiers as well as accommodating existing park occupier expansions which convinces us that we have a winning formula in both respects."
MEPC was advised by WHR and King Sturge. GB Oil was represented by Erinaceous.
