Place Cannes Do Combo Logo Stacked EvenMore than 450 guests enjoyed a lively afternoon of informal business networking, sponsored by Braemar Estates and Together, at The Principal Hotel on Friday.

The second annual Place Cannes Do offered guests an alternative property networking opportunity in Manchester, as many across the industry attended the global property convention, MIPIM, in Cannes last week.

Place Cannes Do 2017 saw an increase on last year’s guests by 30%.

Watch highlights of the afternoon here:

An accordionist greeted guests with the sounds of the French Riviera as they arrived at the drinks reception sponsored by Braemar Estates, in the recently refurbished Principal Hotel’s Whitworth Suite.

During a French-inspired lunch in the grand ballroom, Dani Sicari & The Easy Rollers provided a relaxed jazz lounge atmopshere, before a lively performance from gypsy swing band Hotclub 5, and an eclectic set from DJ Nic Kozubic.

William Taylor, finance and operations director at Braemar Estates, said: “Braemar Estates is proud to be associated with Place Cannes Do given the continued prominence this event has in the North. The event was well attended and it was a pleasure to work with Place North West to sponsor the event. As a sponsor we benefited from our brand exposure to more than 450 property professionals in Manchester. The quality of attendees and decision-makers in attendance shows how important this event is to the property community.”

Dino Moutsopoulos, commercial director at Place North West, said: “We are extremely pleased with this event, with more than 450 in the room and great support from Braemar Estates and Together. We are really looking forward to Place Cannes Do 2018 already.”
