Braemar Estates LogoMore than 350 guests joined Place North West for the inaugural Place Cannes Do, in association with Braemar Estates, on Friday 18 March.

The event was designed to offer an alternative business networking opportunity and a chance to take stock as the global property convention, MIPIM, held annually in Cannes, drew to a close.

A champagne reception was followed by a lunch of classic French cuisine in The Midland’s Alexandra Suite, with entertainment provided by Sam Chara’s French jazz trio and their tribute to Edith Piaf, as well as Hipswing juggling jesters and a caricaturist.

Later in the afternoon, DJ Nic Kozubik raised the tempo a little with an eclectic set of French-inspired pop music.

Touch the Sky Events and Studio eNaR advised Place North West.

The next big Place North West social gathering will be Place Party on Thursday 13 October at a venue in central Manchester. Click here to get involved with Place Party.
