GALLERY | Manchester Summer Social 2024 

The clouds and occasional showers did not dampen the spirits of those in attendance at Place North West’s sold-out Summer Social on Friday as 250 property professionals descended on the Lawn Club in Spinningfields to relax and unwind after a busy first half of the year.

Sponsored by Enzygo and Robertson Group, the event brought together consultants of all stripes as well as architects, funders, lawyers, and contractors, for food, drink, and good conversation.

Attendees at the event included representatives from Savills, Arcadis, Civic Engineers, Muse , and Close Brothers Property Finance.

Judge makes confidentiality ruling in Weis v GMCA loans case

Weis Group will be permitted to view commercially sensitive documents pertaining to Renaker’s development projects despite “competition risks”, a judge has ruled. The ruling was made ahead of the combined authority and the appellant locking horns at the Competition Appeal Tribunal later this month.
