Fusion21 appoints firms to £750m decarbonisation framework
The framework is geared towards meeting the needs of housing associations, local authorities, NHS trusts and education providers.
Suppliers in the framework offer design and delivery services to make buildings more energy-efficient. Those appointed range from SMEs to multinational organisations.
“Developed in response to member and supply chain feedback, this framework supports our members to deliver against a zero-carbon agenda and builds upon the renewable and energy-efficient solutions we already have available,” said Peter Francis, director of operations at Fusion21.
“Whether incorporated into existing asset management strategies or applied to complex multi-measure schemes, our decarbonisation offer will help members to develop their own net zero roadmap, reducing emissions and maximising cost savings,” Francis continued.
The £750m decarbonisation framework is divided into two lots, the first of which is focused on whole-house decarbonisation and is worth up to £500m. Wates Property Services, Engie Regeneration, Liberty Group Investments, Penny Lane Builders and Vinci Construction UK have earned spots on this lot.
The second lot in the framework is dedicated to the decarbonisation of public and education buildings and is worth up to £250m. Companies in this lot include Seddon Construction, Kier Services, P. Casey & Co and Wates.
