Former parliamentary head of workspace joins Claremont

Loren Cooper-Gold is the newest workplace consultant for the Warrington-based office interior design and fit-out company.

Cooper-Gold previously worked as an associate of workplace strategy at architectural firm Spacelab. Prior to that, she spent more than six years working for the House of Commons, including one year as head of workspace.

She joins a team of 95 at Claremont, which is continuing to grow. The company uses data-gathering techniques, research, analysis and workplace psychology to craft plans for improving workplace design. Metropolitan Manchester University is one of its recent clients.

Business has been busy, according to Andrew Peters, head of workplace consultancy at Claremont.

“Since the pandemic began, we’ve experienced a significant increase in demand for workplace consultancy and have delivered 36 projects as businesses strive to make sense of how it’s changed the way we work forever,” he said.

Cooper-Gold’s appointment reflects that increase in demand.

“Loren is a vastly experienced workplace consultant who is adept at change management, stakeholder engagement and workplace research across multi-site property portfolios, plus she is a WELL accredited professional,” Peters said. “All of these skills are highly sought after, particularly in the current climate and she joins us at a very busy and exciting time.”

Claremont also has an office in Bristol.
