Firth relocates and adds project manager

Firth Architects has moved to Jubilee House in Lytham to facilitate its expansion, a process started with the appointment of project manager Rob Haynes.

The firm was established in Manchester in 2003 before moving to the Fylde coast 14 years ago. It will be based alongside contractor accountant Danbro, which bought the former Land Registry building in 2012.

Haynes has more than 10 years’ industry experience and joins from Bruntwood, where he held the position of senior building surveyor and project manager in a lengthy stint.

A qualified chartered building surveyor, he will be responsible for the delivery of projects from inception to completion, including monitoring costs and site progress while acting as the main client liaison.

Joel Firth, director of Firth Architects, said: “We are a small but dynamic practice, and Jubilee House provides us with the flexibility to cater for a larger team as we look to expand, in addition to a well-rounded culture and wellbeing offering for our employees.

The Firth team now numbers seven, and hopes to grow to 10 within six months and potentially 14 within a year.

Danbro acquired Jubilee House, at East Beach, in 2012, announcing plans to redevelop it into 60,000 sq ft of offices, of which it would occupy half, and 20 apartments.
