First look at Vetro office building planned for Liverpool

This new image has been released of the Vetro office scheme being developed by Huntsmere in Liverpool city centre.

Vetro comprises 36,000 sq ft of Grade A boutique-style office space on the corner of Crosshall and Victoria Street and sees the former Tinlings building returned to city life.

A formal launch to the city's property agents will take place tomorrow, Thursday 6 September 2007.

Chris Oakes, director of Huntsmere, commented: "The Vetro scheme will combine iconic architecture and stunning elevations to create a landmark building in the city."

He continued: "Ideally the offices will be aimed at a single occupier but the building has been designed so it can be subdivided into several smaller units if necessary."

The Vetro office scheme is part of the £35m Aura project, which will also see the redevelopment of Crosshall buildings and the former Juvenile Court buildings to create 68 apartments, a spa, a deli and a restaurant.

Ian Steele of GVA Grimley, joint letting agents advising on the scheme along with Keppie Massie, said: "The Aura project will redevelop this entire area and occupiers of the Vetro Scheme will have the retail aspects of the Aura development on their doorstep, making the offices a highly desirable place to work."

Work is due to start on site in January.
