Fieldfisher swoops for Powell

Krista Powell has joined law firm Fieldfisher as a partner in the Manchester real estate team. Powell joins from Freeman Fisher, where she established the firm’s real estate practice after joining as a partner from Addleshaw Goddard.

Powell’s experience includes investment and occupier acquisitions and disposals, development work and landlord and tenant matters.

Antony Phillips, head of the real estate practice, said: “Krista brings a wealth of commercial property experience to the firm, and is particularly skilled in working for investors, developers and owner-managed businesses. She will be a great asset to Fieldfisher and in particular to our growing Manchester real estate team.”

Fieldfisher merged with Heatons in 2014 and the Manchester office now employs over 100 people at its Freetrade Exchange base.
