Fieldfisher adds partner

The law firm has announced the appointment of Kirsty Tinsley-Fenney to its Manchester real estate team.

Tinsley-Fenney joins the Peter Street practice from Warrington-based FDR Law, where she worked as a real estate partner in the commercial department. She has more than 15 years experience in the sector, predominantly with Eversheds, advising local market, national and international clients on all manner of real estate transactions.

Fieldfisher said that she has extensive experience in high-value investment acquisitions and disposals, asset management of client portfolios and development, mostly in logistics and industrial but also covering retail, office parks, science and technology parks and mixed use schemes.

Recent work includes bringing forward the first stage of development at Hollinwood Business District and a £30m industrial portfolio sale, comprising seven sites across the North and Midlands amounting to 770,000 sq ft.

Fieldfisher’s Manchester property department now boasts 38 members of staff and five partners – overall, partner count is up to 21, from 17 in December. The firm said that Liam Buckley’s appointment in 2018 as head of real estate has helped grow the firm’s regional and UK presence, with high profile deals for Booking.com in Manchester, the Royal College of Physicians in Liverpool and the Co-operative Group.
