FCH adds Gore to board

Liverpool-headquartered architecture practice Falconer Chester Hall has promoted Mike Gore to the board of directors, the fifth appointment to the board in 20 years.

Gore joined the practice 15 years ago from college, completing his technical and professional qualifications whilst working in the studio.

Other members of the board are Adam Hall, Paul Falconer, and Alastair Shepherd.

Adam Hall, managing director of Falconer Chester Hall, said: “It’s a great example of someone rising through the ranks. Mike joined us as a trainee technician and through hard work, determination and a real focus on our clients has shown what’s possible.”

The move comes as the company gears up to manage new business wins for clients including Watkins Jones and Elliot Group.

Gore said: “My professional and creative direction has been shaped at FCH and I’m delighted to be able to now help guide the direction of the firm I’ve grown up with. Our Manchester and London studios are expanding steadily as well as Liverpool and our focus is on adding to the talent we have at all levels in the business.”
