Falconer Chester Hall adds to senior team

The architectural practice has promoted Alex Harrison and Paul Gardiner to senior architect roles within its Liverpool office, as the firm continues to expand.

Harrison joined Falconer Chester Hall from Aecom in February 2016 and is currently working on the regeneration of the 350,000 sq ft India Buildings in Liverpool city centre on behalf of landlord Legal & General.

Gardiner spent five years at SimpsonHaugh architects before joining Falconer Chester Hall. His current projects include the redevelopment of the grade two-listed Municipal Building into a four-star hotel for Singapore-based hospitality firm Fragrance Group.

Falconer Chester Hall employs 65 staff across its offices in Liverpool, Manchester and London. A total of 45 staff are based at the firm’s Liverpool office.

Meanwhile, in London, Chris Cox has been promoted to director having joined the company as an associate director in 2016.

Alastair Shepherd, director at Falconer Chester Hall, said: “Staff reward and retention remain a top priority and we are thrilled to be able to offer these promotions to recognise the talent we have within our team. It is fantastic to see continued growth at Falconer Chester Hall and be able to recognise our talent, despite recent challenges.”

The firm is prolific in Liverpool and is working on a large number of projects across the city, including Elliot Group’s £50m apartment scheme on Bridgewater Street and Peel L&P’s 31-storey Patagonia Place development, which was approved in October.

The company was recently appointed by Caro Developments to design a residential scheme in Liverpool’s Baltic Triangle district.
