Exterior Architecture adds to team

Landscape architecture practice Exterior Architecture has expanded its team in Manchester following the establishment of its studio in the city in March this year.

Shaun Lyons has been appointed as landscape architect joining the practice’s other recent recruit Sophie Parker-Loftus.

After completing a masters in landscape architecture at Sheffield University in 2013, Lyons joined landscape architecture practice Bradley Murphy Design prior to joining Exterior Architecture.

Jonathan Miley, director in Manchester, said: “The appointment of Shaun represents an important next step in the development of our Manchester studio as we continue to be successful in the city and the wider region. Very few people realise that Exterior Architecture has worked in Manchester for over 10 years and the establishment of our studio here is testament to our confidence and commitment to continuing that trend.”

Exterior Architecture is led by partners Sam Martin and Leighton Pace and since opening a studio in Manchester they have worked with clients including Capital & Centric, Ask Developments and Starwood Hotels. As one of the UK’s fastest growing landscape architecture practices, Exterior Architecture is involved in a number of high profile projects including the redevelopment of Battersea Power Station.
