Ex-Bruntwood director Forshaw goes it alone
Colin Forshaw has established Glacier, a property and development consultancy, after leaving the firm he spent the last 24 years with.
Forshaw joined Bruntwood in the year 2000 and most recently held the role of development director at Bruntwood SciTech, the joint venture between Bruntwood, Legal & General, and the Greater Manchester Pension Fund.
During almost a quarter of a century in Bruntwood’s Liverpool office, Forshaw has overseen various projects including the refurbishments of The Plaza and Orleans House. The latter was converted into apartments and sold, while Bruntwood SciTech still owns The Plaza.
Other schemes Forshaw worked on include the acquisition, refurb, and sale of Oriel Chambers and St Hugh’s House in Bootle. He was also involved in Bruntwood’s acquisition of a 25% share in Liverpool Science Park, now known as Sciontec.
Named Glacier, Forshaw’s new venture will bring a “fresh approach to real estate consulting”, he said.
He intends to focus his efforts across the Liverpool City Region, supporting landlords, tenants, and investors.
“After 24 incredible years in the property world—acquiring, developing, leasing, transforming spaces, disposals, and everything in between—Glacier is the next chapter in my journey,” he said.
“Having spent my career working across the Liverpool City Region and Greater Manchester, I’ve been fortunate to collaborate with a diverse range of clients in some of the most innovative and inspiring sectors.
He added: “Whether you’re curious about the sectors we specialise in or the services we can offer, feel free to explore the website or reach out directly.”
