George Davies are providing a free seminar to outline the key changes to the Construction Act, which are due to come into force in 2011.
Employers, Contractors and Sub Contractors as well as Specialist Equipment Suppliers need to be aware of the changes which will affect many aspects of the day to day operation of construction contracts. Those important changes will include:
Contracts subject to adjudication being extended to include oral contracts
Abolition of pay when certified Tolent Clauses
Changes in the suspension process for non payment; and
An update to the Construction Act Scheme.
